1. Tool data (JSON you paste)
JSON Quiet formats and validates JSON entirely in your browser. Text or files you paste/open are not uploaded to JSON Quiet servers for processing. If you choose “Load from URL”, your browser fetches that public URL directly. We do not operate a backend that receives your editor contents for beautifying or validation.
You remain responsible for what you paste into any tool, including this one. Prefer redacting secrets when sharing examples with others or when asking for help.
2. Cookies, Google AdSense, and advertising
We use Google AdSense to display ads that help pay for hosting. Google and its partners may set or read cookies and use similar technologies (such as advertising identifiers) to serve, personalize, and measure ads, and to limit how often you see the same creative.
Depending on your region and settings, you may see personalized or non-personalized ads. Google provides information about how advertising works, partner practices, and how to control ad personalization in Google’s advertising technologies / ads policies and related Google privacy pages. You can also use browser controls, industry opt-out tools where available, and Google’s Ads Settings to manage personalized advertising.
Advertising cookies and identifiers are separate from the JSON in the editor. Showing ads does not mean your pasted JSON is sent to JSON Quiet for analysis. Third-party ad scripts may still receive standard web request data (such as page URL and technical browser information) as part of delivering ads — see Google’s documentation for details.
3. Hosting logs
Our hosting provider may log IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, and user-agent for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate traffic statistics. These logs do not include the JSON content you type into the editor.
4. Local storage and preferences
The site may store simple preferences in your browser (for example language selection) using mechanisms such as localStorage. That data stays on your device and is not used as a cross-site advertising profile by JSON Quiet.
5. Donations
Optional PayPal or PIX donations are processed by those payment providers under their own privacy terms. We do not store card numbers or PIX authentication secrets on JSON Quiet servers.
