Terms of Use
These terms describe how you may use JSON Quiet (jsonquiet.com), a free, browser-based JSON formatter and validator. By using the site you agree to this page and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the tool.
1. The service
JSON Quiet provides a client-side editor to pretty-print, compact, and check JSON syntax (RFC 8259, plus an optional relaxed mode). Formatting and validation run in your browser. We do not operate a backend that receives your editor contents for processing. Optional features such as loading a public URL use your browser to fetch that resource at your request.
The site is provided as-is, without an account, service-level agreement, or guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Features may change as the project evolves.
2. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for what you paste, open, or fetch. Do not use the tool to process data you are not allowed to handle. Redact secrets, tokens, passwords, and personal data of third parties before sharing screenshots or asking for help. JSON Quiet is not a secure vault, a backup service, or a compliance control.
You must not use the site to break the law, to attack other systems, or to generate invalid or misleading traffic to advertisements. Do not try to click ads as a way to “support” the project — optional PayPal and PIX donations exist for that.
3. No warranty
Output is provided for convenience. Validation answers whether a document looks like legal JSON under the selected mode; it does not prove that the data is correct for your API, schema, or business rules. We are not liable for lost work, bad deploys, or decisions you make based on formatted or validated text. Keep your own copies of important files.
4. Advertising
JSON Quiet may display Google AdSense advertisements to help pay for hosting. Ads are a publisher revenue source. They are not required to use Format or Validate, and nothing on the site asks you to click ads. Advertising technologies are described in the Privacy Policy. Ads are separate from the JSON in the editor.
5. Donations
Optional PayPal and PIX donations are voluntary tips. They do not buy extra features, remove ads, or create a contract for support. Payment providers process those transactions under their own terms. We do not store card numbers or PIX authentication secrets on JSON Quiet servers.
6. Intellectual property
The JSON Quiet name, layout, original guides, and site code are provided for use of the public website. You keep ownership of the JSON you paste. Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades service for others or republish the guides as if they were your own without attribution.
7. Third-party links
Links to sister projects such as DevsDrill, to payment providers, or to Google policy pages are provided for convenience. Those sites have their own terms and privacy notices.
8. Contact and changes
